Refund policy
At The Wave Universe Clothing, our goal is to ensure you are satisfied with your order. Due to regional variations in shipping, tariffs, and consumer protection laws, our return policy is outlined separately for each market.
Canada & European Union
- You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn/unused, with tags, in its original packaging, and with proof of purchase.
- To start a return, contact us at contact@thewaveuniverse.com. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
United States
FINAL SALE — U.S. ORDERS
All orders shipped to the United States are Final Sale.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for U.S. orders, except in cases where the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
This policy is due to U.S. import tariff regulations. Once duties and tariffs are prepaid under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), these charges are non-refundable.
If your item is defective or damaged, please contact us at contact@thewaveuniverse.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear product photos.
International (Rest of World)
- All orders shipped outside the U.S., Canada, and the EU are considered Final Sale.
- We cannot accept returns or exchanges due to unpredictable customs processes and high international shipping costs.
- Exceptions apply only in cases of defective, damaged, or incorrect items. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with proof.
Damages and Issues (All Regions)
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the correct item is to return the item you have (if your region is eligible) and make a new purchase once the return is approved.
Refunds
- We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund has been approved.
- If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
- If more than 14 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at contact@thewaveuniverse.com.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
- We cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or customized / special-order products.
